You Wouldn't Believe What Happened.
July 26, 2026
I need to just sit with this for a second before I even try to write it properly.
I made my first sale. On a website I built myself. Just me and my laptop.
I keep replaying it in my head like it's not real. I remember when this was still just an idea, when sisíológe was figuring out what it even wanted to be. The late nights uploading products one by one, testing checkout over and over, breaking things and fixing them and breaking them again. Nobody was watching any of that. It was just me, my laptop, and a whole lot of trial and error and sleepless nights.
If I'm being honest, I was feeling somehow when we prelaunched. Would I actually make sales? Would people even visit the website? I kept those questions in the back of my mind, trying not to think about it too much.
I was literally taking pictures of my next drop, still wondering if anyone would ever purchase from the website, when I got the notification, you have no idea how excited I was.
I felt like a winner, genuinely. Not gonna lie. And then it happened again, and again, more sales rolling in after that first one. Like it wasn't a fluke, like this was actually working.
I don't think people understand how surreal that feeling is until it happens to you. I DID this. Nobody handed this to me. I sat down, figured it out piece by piece, and it actually worked.
Not because everything is perfect, because it isn't, we're still fixing things as we go. But because I proved to myself that I could take something from nothing and actually make it real.
Thank you to whoever made that first purchase. You will genuinely never know what that meant to me.
If you're building anything right now, whatever that looks like for you, I hope you get your version of this feeling soon. The kind where all the messy, invisible work suddenly feels worth it.
This is only just the beginning.
